Welcome, Little One

Happy Sunday!!!
It is that time of year when I make random cards because Saint Patty's Day is about a month away.  I am doing a short tutorial for you today.  There is always a reason to make baby cards.
1. Cut CS to 4.5 x 9.
2.  Score at 4.5 to make a card base.
 3.  Cut a piece of designer paper 2.5x 4 and add a tiny border around it.
4. Adhere some twine around this piece.
5.  Cut a coordinating piece of designer paper at 2.5x 3.5.
6.  Next cut baby pieces from Baby Steps at 2 in.
7.  Stamp the face with Peachy Keen's Bird Faces and More.
8.  Cut a 2 3/8 scallop circle from white card stock.
 9.  Add a sentiment on a .5 x 3 on scrap paper and cut tails.
Enjoy!

Follow Your Heart

Happy Wednesday Everyone!  Super fast post today!  Of course I used Sweethearts for the tree and hearts.  The wagon came from Nate's Abc.  I also embossed the hearts and tree with a cuttlebug folder. All the cardstock is from Stampin Up!
  Enjoy your Wednesday!

Love You

Happy Thursday! One of my dearest friends Marna introduced these Habanero Almonds and we eat them all the time. Since we eat them all the time I have tons of cans and that I don't want to discard them. I finally had time to turn one into something different. The paper is cut at 2.5 x 12. You will need cut a little smaller that 2.5 to have a perfect fit. Then I cut a scrap 3/4 x 12 to use for a scalloped border. LOVE YOU came from Stampin cart and it is cut .75 with and without shift on. Then I grabbed one of my favorite carts, Flower Shoppe. These flower are cut at .75. Here is a video I made on the flowers, I hope you enjoy!

Love ya

Happy Monday to you!
I hope you had a great weekend. I had tons of fun this weekend. I went to brunch with a friend, dinner & movie with hubby, and shop at Joanns. It was a great weekend. For my card I used Sweethearts Cart, spellbinder scalloped heart die and Lace and Linen paper stack. Have a great Monday!
Happy Thursday Everyone!
My goal is get rid of all the bad foods in my craft room. I am not for sure why I have sweets in my room but I do. This is a perfect way to not eat everything that is covered in chocolate. The tag for bag is from Birthday Bash and it is cut at 4.87x 1.71.  I am sure it doesn't matter if you have my exact measurement.  The frog and Kiss Me is from Sweethearts cart.  The size of the frog is 2 in and Kiss Me is 1.5 in.

I just love Stampin Up's colors.  This is Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo.

Add details with a white gel pen and Sharpie.

I always add blush to my die cuts.

While at Scrapbook convention I picked up colored lacquer and it is perfect for the kiss.

Good morning and thanks for coming by my blog. I have a birthday this week I must get this card off today. I don't know about you but I have a hard time making masculine cards. I think every card should have some kinds of pink, just my opinion. Here is my attempt at a masculine card. I am using Stampin Up Pool Party and Limeade casrdstock. The wine bottle is from Something to Celebrate Cart. Have a great day!

new years baby

Happy New Years!!!
Another year gone and a new one just begun! I am so excited about the change. I was somewhat ready for 2011 to past. I hope this year brings lots of love, hope and happiness. I wonder if there are any babies born today on this special day? So I made a card for all babies born today. I made a cut file for this card and you are more than welcome to download it. You will find the cut file at the bottom of this post and on the cut files page.
Enjoy your first day of the year!

Happy New Years

Hey there! I have finally finished my room and it is amazing in my eyes. I have reorganized different spots in my room and it is wonderful. I am so happy with it. I have a spot for my latest toy. Yeah!
Since the new year is around the corner here is a card that anyone can do in five minutes. I welded the party hat from Martha Stewart Seasonal cart and cut a top layer. The title is from Wild Card and it is finished. Have a great Wednesday!

Merry Christmas

Good morning everyone! My mother is celebrating her birthday today, Happy Birthday Mom! Last week I posted her birthday card if you are interested in looking at it.
On a different note, Michaels has Christmas designer paper 60% off today. Today would be a great time to pick up that Martha Stewart Christmas paper. My designer paper is not Michaels but it is really cute. Santa is cut at 3.5 from Doodlecharms. For Santa's face I used Princess faces from Peachy Keen.
Enjoy your day!

the day you were born

I hope you are having a great day! My dear mother's birthday is right around the corner and I wanted to make her a card. Since she lives so far away I always send her a gift card. SO I made a gift card holder for her. Start off with a 4 1/4 x 11 cardstock. Score at 3 on both ends and at 5 1/2. Adhere the edges of the insides so there is room for the gift card. After adhering the inside edges together use a window punch to punch out a slot for the card. Enjoy!

Adding Details to Die Cuts

Hey Ladies!! My craft has turn into a very messy place since the craft show is three weeks away. I am trying to get a lot done. So this craft show has basically consumed my life (more like my crafting time). In today's card I am highlighting how to add detail to your die cuts. I grab a few Old Olive leaves from Flower Shoppe and embossed with a Stampin Up embossing folder. Have a great day and enjoy the quick video.

Card Dimensions
Card base 5 1/2 x 8 1/4 scored at 4 1/8
2nd layer Tango Tangerine 1/16 larger than designer paper
Designer Paper 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Spellbnder labels
Flower Shoppe
Stampin Up Spider Web Embossing folder

happy halloween

Are you looking for a cheap and quick project to make for tons of friends. Well take a small paper sack and cut off the top at 2.5 inches from the bottom. Next take a punch and punch through both side at once. Of course I am using Martha Stewart web punch. Next take a 3.5 designer paper and add tinsel to the edge for decorations. I am using Martha Stewart's Halloween embellishment set. Adhere this to the bag. I decorated both sides of the bag, but you don't have to. I found some lollipop sticks screaming for attention. So I gave in and added a spider to my sign. Enjoy your Friday!
