Congratulations

Happy Tuesday!
I am trying to figure out how to keep my blog alive while working full time, being a wife, and mother.  My first desire was to post something at least four times a week but that did not work at all.  I am going to shoot for the stars on this one... 3 times a week.  I know, I know, that is not a lot but that is a start for me.
On to the first card of this week.  My husband's cousin is having a baby in May and I wanted to create a card for her.  I have been a little rusty lately but this card says in Celine Dion's voice "I'm Alive".  Sometimes I need a little inspiration to take off.
I found some old Stampin Up Designer series paper to provide me with some color inspiration.
 I must say this is my go to stamp for my expecting mothers.

My cricut gives me a fast way to get a circle for the layers of my card.

I stamped the image multiple times on different papers to get her outfit and cut out each piece to adhere them to the original layer.

Another look at the final card.  Enjoy!

Congrats

Happy New Year!  This will be better than ever!
One of my family members is having a baby in May and since I have some time on my hands to make cards I am starting with her new baby.  This cutie is an old stamp set I bought from another demonstrator.  I colored this cutie with Stampin Up crayons and Copic markers.
The label is from Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste Collection Kudos.  I used Stampin Up ink Sahara Sand and Pretty in Pink.

To jazz my card I made the perfect envelope for my card.

I hope you have a wonderful start to 2014 and thank you stopping by!

Digital {Baby Shower}

Really fast post today.  I love making invites for baby shower digitally.  I made this for a girlfriend and I think it turned out very cute.  Stampin Up has this cool digital program for things like this.  If you haven't tried making cards digitally then look for a program that works for you.
Have a creative day!

Digital {Baby Shower}

Happy Tuesday Crafters!!!
Even though I was away for two months doesn't mean I wasn't doing some type of crafting.  Somehow I have manage to fall in love with digital card making.  Here is a baby shower invite I made for a dear friend.  I have blurred her name to "protect the innocence".  I found some clipart I really liked to match her jungle theme shower.  Once I found the clipart I was searching for, I created the background with Stampin Up My Digital Studio.  Lastly placed the animals perfectly in their spots in Photoshop.  See you tomorrow and Enjoy your day!

Baby Shower Card

Super fast post today. I have been working on a baby shower for Monday and here is the shower card. All cuts are from New Arrival. Enjoy your Friday!

Baby shower

This weekend I had a blast at the baby shower and wanted to share the items I made for the mother to be. We had to decorate a letter for the baby's room and I was nervous about creating a letter. We had no boundaries. I did not know what colors to pick and actually my letter matched all the others. It is a standard on the diaper cake.
Tomorrow I will be back to card making. I am taking a poll on cards I should focus on, please vote! You can find the poll at the top left.
Have a great day!

A New Little Something

I have made something fun things in my life but the has to be the best Baby Shower gift I every made. We have a shower today and usually I would make a diaper cake. But this has taken the cake!!! The lollipops are receiving blankets. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I found this pot at Joann and I sprayed painted it with the color sweet pea. I found the lollipops tutorial online and found the blankets to match the pot. For the card...it is cut at 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. The DCWV pack name is Nana's Nursery. I bought this paper a couple years ago and I know the local stores still sell them. For the sweet bunny, this is a retired set from Stampin Up named A New Little Something. Sometime you can find demonstrators who are replacing old with new sets. I was very lucky when I saw this one. I really wanted it then and I am still in love with it now. And no I am not selling it!!! I gently colored the bunny with water crayons from STampin Up.
Enjoy!

Baby Shower

We had a baby shower last week and I made the card the shower. It is a simple gate fold card with designer paper. The baby onesie was cut from the new arrival cartridge.
Enjoy!
