Blessed to be a Mom

Happy Mother's Day!  Today is a special day when we honor all moms and I am very blessed to be named Mom. My girls and hubby are the best!  I was surprised with a cake from my favorite place and given beautiful flowers with handmade cards.  So Sweet!

This card is a quick and simple card.  It is three layers, card base, middle layer and embossed top layer.

Nana {A Yourstory book}

Happy Tuesday!  I got a chance to make our mothers book from our girl and the books are so cute! One particular item I love is having an easy and convient way to make picture album.  I dusted off my Yudu and made two books for our moms.

I found this fun floral embroidery set online for the my book and there really look good.

The font is Alphalicious from Provo Craft.

I added some color for a bit of shine.

Last but not least I copied a poem from online and inserted that inside my books.

Mother's Day Cards {Day 2 Wonderful Mother}

Happy Sunday!  I think I am on a roll about making my cards for this week.  I have tons of Mom's day card to make then I have a few birthday cards to do as well.  

My card today speaks volumes about how I feel about my Mom.  She is just as beautiful as this card.

This was a very card to make and it is really simple to do.  I stamped all the layers at the same time then added a background layer.  

This charming butterfly is from Hannah Montana.  I have tons of rhinestone so my cards will have a bling to them until I can destash them.

I used Array of Sunshine to stamp all over my piece of Very Vanilla.

Mother's Day {Card 1}

Happy Saturday and National Scrapbooking day!

This morning I felt really good even though my little one is feeling ill.  I had a chance to go to Joann's to do a little shopping and made a card for Mom's day.  I have never used the Raspberry Ripple from Stampin Up but I love it paired with Elegant Eggplant.  My mother loves purple and this will make her smile.

The honeycomb embossing folder is from cuttlebug.

When I don't have ribbon to match I pull in my twine and it is so cute on this card.

Here is a picture of the flowers I made using Mother's Day cricut cart.

Another nice touch is the black rhinestones.  I had this stones for years and now I found a neat way to use them.

Mother's day card

This week I will focus only on Moms. I will post card ideas for our mothers.
Mother's day is quickly approaching and I wanted to do a different card that required very little stamping. I got this fab paper last week and it came with stickers. I just use what came in the package and I have the perfect card. Have a creative day!
