For a Friend

Happy Wednesday!  I hope you are having a great day so far.  I am truly trying to stuck to creating with things I have this week and I tell you what this is very fun.  I found a book about card with special folds and I was very determined to recreate this card.  I am sure there is a very simple tutorial on this card but I wanted to follow the book.  I spent all day working on the card but I got it done.  I wanted to create the card on my pazzles so I can electronically cut it out numerous times without thinking.  So that is why it took all day.  I guess there is a perfectionist in me somewhere because it took all day. Here is the card and the box I made yesterday.  I think it turned out super cute.

After figuring out the card I printed some designer paper from Lori's Garden on my Imagine.

In the Pazzles' file I created the pieces so I did not have to think about hand cutting this.  If someone knows how to change my WPC into SVG I wouldn't mind sharing the file.
I am using what I have. I bought this two years ago at scrapbook convention for cheap and I played with them today.

As you can see I used the gel pens on the front layer.

I used Tag, Bags, Boxes, and More 2 to make this gable box and added a label from Elegant Edges.

I used fun stamps to stamp flowers.

Another look at the card.

A closer picture.
I added some acetate so the recipient can view the stamp.

Dad, a Daughter's First Love

Happy Saturday!!!  I sure hope you are ready to spoil the dads of your life tomorrow.  I still have a few things to do for my hubby.  Here is a special card for all the daughter's out there.  My daughter is my husband's biggest fan and they have a very special relationship.  Have a creative day and an awesome weekend!

Supplies:  Copic Markers
Scrap paper
Pazzles Daddy and Daughter Cut file

You are so Appeeling!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!  The last two days have been so busy with a dance recital and pool time.  Boy time flies when you're having fun.  My daughter had her dance recital and she was beautiful little dancer.  Then on Monday we met with friends to sit in a pool to beat the heat.
I am in love with mustaches.  I know that sounds weird but it is something about a men with a mustache.  LOL
Here is my card for today...
I used my imagine to color and cut the banana in Stampin Up colors Very Vanilla and Delightful Daffodil.   I added some texture with a Stampin Up embossing folder.

One reason I fell in love with my Pazzles is because of the writing capabilities.  I can use any font I have on my computer.

If that mustache doesn't make you laugh then I don't know what will.

Enjoy!

Supplies:  Cricut Imgaine- Create a Critter

Colors- Delightful Daffodil, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Early Expresso

I have to really honest about the girl scouts' cookies the other day, I ate the small baggie.  When I looked at my blog those cookies kept calling my name.  I could not resist!!!  I was weak. I am sure you are thinking in your mind "Kim, there are more cookies on your blog today".  I  ran out of cookies so we had to bake some last night.  I made a gable box with Pazzles today. One reason I love the Pazzles is because of the scoring ability.
Here is my pattern with score lines!!! Cannot get any better than that.

Just added those yummy cookies!

If you haven't played with Copic markers and airbrush system, loads of fun.  I used Spellbinders oval and scallop die to  make this label.

Enjoy your day!

shirt

Super fast post today. I love making shirts for my friends with all kinds of silly sayings. I made the letters using true font on my pazzles software. It was too simple. Enjoy!

ho, ho, ho

OMG it is Monday. I cannot believe it has been three days since I created a post. My Saturday was extremely packed with all kinds of fun activities and I spent all day Sunday catching up on some rest. This was a very fun card to make. I did use my Pazzles to create it. If you don't have Martha Stewart latest paper stack then you are seriously missing out. Let me know if you are interested in the cut file. Have a great day!

happy harvest

Welcome to my blog!!! I was looking for something today when I came across a Darcie's Stamp Cd. Of course I put two and two together. I was able import images to print and cut using my Pazzles. If you haven't figured it out I am Pazzles lover. I love this card because I had very little to do. I did use copic markers to airbrush the background. I hope you enjoy your day!

happy fall

I am so glad is it Saturday and I am sure you feel the same way. Have you ever bought something when you had a burning desire and after you bought it the item just sat on a shelf? I am notorious for doing this with scrapbooking. My first year at scrapbook convention I spontaneously bought the Pazzles and it has turn out to be the best tool I have. While I was purchasing the Pazzles I was told about Kayla’s Kreations image cd. So of course I quickly ran to grab two or maybe three. I got it home and fell in love with her patterns and stuff. Fast-forward a year…I bought her complete series of image cds. I had so much fun playing with scrapbook pages but the only bad part I had to cut by hand. That same year Pazzles and Kayla had some time to recreate the image cds as cut files. So I now I have cutting files and I don’t have to cut them by hand. My card is a 4x4 and the top layer is 1/8 smaller than the base. The designer paper is from Recollections Simply Autumn. I hope you enjoy my card today and enjoy your weekend!

Happy Birthday Cupcake Box

(I thought this was posted the morning???)
I had to take a break from the shower's gifts to share an amazing cupcake box. This box is from the Pazzles' website and it was too easy to watch it cut out the perfect box. So I had two birthdays and the obvious choice is to give cake of some sort. Since I was planning to see the ladies first thing in the morning so this quickly became a breakfast muffin box. Enjoy!

witch's hat

I so wanted to make a witch's hat with a simple pattern. Today's tutorial is just that a witch's hat.
The black card stock is 4 x 11 scored with two triangles. I have a pazzles file and I am trying to learn how to convert to svg files so I can share it.
This is what it looks like when the black paper is scored. Cut out the spellbinders label and add some glitter.
I found this rectangle punch at Hobby Lobby years ago and I use it for some many projects.
Punch out a line of rectangles on the spellbinder label to thread the designer paper through the label. The paper is K and Company.
Glue down the strip of paper and trim the edges.

This is what it should look like after adding the strip of paper.
Punch out rectangle threw both sides.
I used a pencil to make a mark through the punched hole so it is easy to get straight lines.
Thread the ribbon the box.
Take a 1x7 piece of cardstock and make a mark at 2 in. on both sides. Then cut off the edges at an angle from the 2 in to the corner of the paper.

Add some adhesive to the brim of the hat and stick the box to it.
Here is the finally project. Let me know if you need help with this tutorial. Have a great day!
