Halloween Treat Bags

Happy Sunday!  Halloween is just around the corner and I have prepared a video to demo a quick and easy treat bag.  Enjoy!

Oh, Cats!

Happy Saturday!  I have been at training all day and I could not wait to get home to make something.  So this was another fast card again.  I used the same paper stacks and stickers from the last post.
Isn't he a cutie!

Well I have been very busy lately trying to figure out this embroidery/  appliqué shirt business and I think I got something going.  Please check out my Facebook page and like it.  This is my first time announcing it. I am still working on loading pictures.  On my Facebook page you will find spirit shirts, hair accessories, baby/toddler/kids items, and decor.  Click here to check it out.  If you leave near I will deliver or I can ship items to you if you live far away.

Have a great day!

The Monster Bash!

Happy Sunday and thank you for making me part of your day!  WOW, it has been a very long time since I have written a post.  It is mainly because my weekends are extremely full and when it is not, I am trying to catch up on sleep.  This weekend I had chance to go out to Joann's and Hobby Lobby to spend some birthday money.  (I haven't been to Joann's Fabric is months)  I got a gift card for my birthday and it was burning a hole in my pocket.
While shopping at Joann's, I found some fun papers and stickers for Halloween. Then it dawned on me, Halloween is three weeks away!!!  I have no cards or projects to give out.  Shaking my head, I grabbed DCWV Fall & Halloween paper stack and Paper House 3D stickers.
My first card turned out really cute! All I did was adhered everything down to the base card.  Easy!

I saw this sticker and first thing came to mind is the song "The Monster Mash".

Frankie is way out of line for dressing like this.  Maybe he needs to cut back on those muffins.

Here is the final card.  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  I reinstating my goal of three posts a week.  Come back for more this week!

Happy Halloween

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you are enjoying your day.  I must confess that now I have two little ones it extremely hard to post something everyday.  So here is the plan... I will try to post three times a week.  When my little one doesn't want to destory my room I will get better about everyday posting.  But for now I will post about three times a week.
My absolutely the best time of year is Autumn!  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this time of year.  Here is a fun halloween card you can recreate with your own measurement.
I really like the color combo in my card.  I guess the card doesn't have to be black.  I Love It!

The bat is from Create a Critter Cart and it is actually jumping off the card.  I have a little mechanism behind the bat making it fly.

Happy Halloween is from Martha Stewart's Seasonal Cake Art.  I have a fine shimmery pen and I smeared it all over the words.

I am finding it easy to make a bow with Bow Easy template.  It is too simple to make tiny bows for cards and scrapbooking.
Here is another look at the entire card.

One last close up on the front!
Enjoy your Tuesday and I will post something at the end of the week!
Have a creative day!

who's your mummy

Happy Halloween everyone!!! This month has gone by really fast. I made little treat bags for my friends. When I have craft parties at my house my friends love the chocolate covered pretzels. When I was at Joann I spotted this fun pretzel mold. I believe it is a Wilton brand. Enjoy your day and don't eat too much candy.

happy hauntings

Good morning and welcome to my blog. Today's card is a gate fold card and if you need to know how to make one visit yesterday's post. I really wanted to use flowers with Halloween so I made these flowers using my Bigshot and five petal punch from Stampin Up. Then I used the melting pot to add a glass like look on the flowers. I think the flowers look pretty cool. Enjoy your day, see you tomorrow.

Blood donors needed, see the Count!

Just another Manic Monday!!! I can't believe that Halloween is this weekend. I guess I will have to display my last Halloween cards in 2011. This week will be all about Halloween and the gate fold card. The gate fold card is 8.5 by 5.5 base scored at 2 1/8 at both ends. So here is my first card. Black cardstock for the base and K& Company for the top layer. The count and the frame are from Happy Hauntings. Keep creating!

happy halloween

Are you looking for a cheap and quick project to make for tons of friends. Well take a small paper sack and cut off the top at 2.5 inches from the bottom. Next take a punch and punch through both side at once. Of course I am using Martha Stewart web punch. Next take a 3.5 designer paper and add tinsel to the edge for decorations. I am using Martha Stewart's Halloween embellishment set. Adhere this to the bag. I decorated both sides of the bag, but you don't have to. I found some lollipop sticks screaming for attention. So I gave in and added a spider to my sign. Enjoy your Friday!

have a wicked halloween

Hey Crafters!!!I cannot believe this week is almost over. It really went by fast. Just a quick note...I will be celebrating my #$ birthday tomorrow so I will not have time to post but come back on Friday. Have an awesome day!!!

Furry Spider

It's another Manic Monday!!! I wish it Friday!! Hey Crafters I hope you are having a great start to your Monday. Have I ever mentioned I LOVE MARTHA STEWART"S CRAFTS? My oh my. I was in Joann just looking for Halloween stuff when I stumbled into an aisle full of MS Halloween stuff. I saw paper, glitter, punches, oh did I say glitter yet? In a pack of 12 I got Halloween glitter, tinsel, and tiny beads. So I made a card with the black and silver tinsel. The spider is covered with MS ebony flock. I love the way this flock feels. I have another brand and there isn't a comparison between the two. What make this even better I got the flock on sale for a buck 1.50. Info on the card, this card is an A2 with designer paper cut at 5.5 x 1.5. The web is from Minin Monsters and the spider is from Doodlecharms. Below you will find a video on adding flock to an image. Have a great day!

Halloween Luminaries Video

I love this time of year. Crisp mornings, 80s during the day and of course Halloween projects!!! I made Luminaries a few weeks back and wanted to demo how to make one. Even if you don't have a electronic cutter you can still make it. Here are the measurements for luminary. My luminary is cut 5.75 x 5.5. The window is 4.25 x 3.75. Score on the 5.75 side at 1/2 on one side. Let me know if you have any questions. Don't forget the cut file for the gypsy is below the video. Enjoy!

trick or treat

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I am so ready for the weekend. My good friend convinced me to go skating with her last night and let me tell you it was so fun to watch me hit the floor. I did get up with up with very little dignity (all I could mustered up) and continued to skate. It was too funny! My project today is candy box. I used the Ultimate Crafters Companion to make the box. I believe my box is a 4x4. I made the belly band with black and purple paper. The band is cut to 12 x1.5 with the layer being slightly smaller. I also used Martha Stewart punch to add the spider web border. Have you noticed I love Martha's tools. This box will be perfect for any candy to give a friend.
Have a great day!!!

watch your heads

I hope you are having a great Thursday so far. I am in love with airbrushing and copic markers. I love how I can design a background just for my needs. My card today is a 5 in pop up card. I took a white 5 x 10 white cardstock and scored it at 5. I used copics airbrushing system to color my background. The Headless Horseman is from Happy Hauntings and it is cut at 3. If you are not familiar on creating a pop up card sign me a message and I will make a tutorial for you. Have a creative day!

Eerie Title

Here is a quick video on making eerie titles. It too simple. Check it out and let me know what you think. I will have another Halloween tutorial this week!!! Have a creative day!
