Inkerella: Side by side, Year by year

Wake up and smell the roses! My hubby always knows how to bring a smile to my face. He is so sweet. Our anniversary is next week and he gave me a pre- anniversary flowers. Our wedding flowers were tangerine colored and it always melt my heart with he buys tangerine colored flowers for me. Enough about the flowers...skip down to few pictures to see my card for today.

He knows that red roses will not do, my flowers must be tangerine.

Our colors were pale yellow highlighted with tangerine lilies.

I just love the different colors.

I married my best friend and soul mate eight years ago next week and I wanted to send him a strong statement about how I feel about him. There are several sets I looked at this one stood out the most. Summer by the Sea is a retired Stampin Up stamp set. I started with water paper, copic markers, and airbrush system. This card has the masking technique. I stamped the couple on the watercolor and a scrap paper. I cut around the image on the scrap paper and applied repositional glue on the image. I place the cut out image on the stamped image to cover it while spraying the background. I gently sprayed the watercolor paper with three copic colors. Lastly, I colored the couple with Stampin Up watercolors. I hope you enjoy your day!
